New Beauty Trend:
Matte-ly Crew

Nail polish has gone to the dark side (or at least the side that's not as shiny). With new matte paints from big companies like O.P.I and Essie its hard not to want to try this hot new trend. But is it as great as magazines are making it seem? With a dry, chipped and peeling finish its a waste of time and money. If we wanted our nails not to shine then we would leave them all natural, right? Matte nails do add an edge to the typical polished look. What's your take on these new matte paints for nails

Posh or Toss?:
Accesorized Accesories

It sure is hard to find a good headband!

FEATHERED:

This feathered headband is the perfect example of the bobble overload. If this headband makes you fly, its a posh choice for travel! But since these feathers only look gorgeous on a peacock, we say toss this to the birds.

FLOWERED:

Yikes! Toss this headband. Maybe its good for a bad hair day, the gigantic flower is the only thing people will be staring at!

This headband let's you show off a garden girl style, without all the craziness. Now you can stop and smell the roses: posh!

BOWS:

Uh-oh! Neon green lace? An oversized, childlike bow? This loud band may make a bit too much noise on your head. Toss this zany band in the trash.

A small bow in the same color as the band is a much more subtle approach to this look. You can't go wrong with fuschia ribbon. This sweet head band is pretty in posh!

JEWELED:

A touch of sparkle in your hair always looks good, right? WRONG! A headband that looks like you made it yourself with a bottle of Elmer's glue is not exactly chic. Toss!

Neatly placed gems on a metallic band adds a special touch to any outfit. PoSHiny!

Bravo's New [and fashionable] Series

Every Tuesday at 9pm the Posh Girls turn the channel to Bravo, excited to witness trends in the making as the cameras follow the lives of the posh [and dramatic] prep school teens and their lives in the Big Apple. This new series features an array of styles from the many different characters. This show gets the Posh Girls seal of approval! http://www.bravotv.com/nyc-prep

Ignoring her catty behavior, the Posh Girls love her style! Jessie, who has been described as the queen bee of the show, not only wears cute clothes, but interns for a fashion magazine, and is the head of the fashion department in her cause for "Operation Smile" which raises money for kids with cleft palate. In part for her mission to raise money she teams up with a fashionable NYC store called Blue and Cream. That store gets the Posh Girls seal of approval! Here is the link! http://www.blueandcream.com/

On the right is a picture of three of the glamorous girls from NYC Prep. [From Left to Right] Kelli, Camille, Taylor. Taylor is a more economic girl who shops at vintage stores all around NYC with her public school friends. Camille and Kelli shop at Barneys together. They all present a different style to the show, and that's why this show gets the Posh Girls seal of approval.

Check this out at 9 pm on Tuesdays
